Destructive code attached to standard HTTP or Internet Web pages
is becoming prevalent. Simply by viewing a Web page, for example, you may be
downloading a virus (i.e., destructive code); and if your system is not
adequately protected by standard virus protection software, your programs and/or
files will be at risk. Another example is Web sites that “push” Web pages
and launch multiple screens along with the first one. This can be, at least,
annoying, and at worst, detrimental. In response to these and other attacks, TigerSurf, based on a
secure Internet browser module designed to help protect your system, has been
developed. Fundamentally, the suite provides protection against destructive Web
pages, browser flooding (no more mass pop-up screens), and remote Trojans. TigerSurf includes a secure, multithreading Internet search engine, which enables you, using keywords, to search several major search engines: you simply tab to view the results from each search engine; no more re-searching the Web. TigerSurf supports all Microsoft Internet Explorer plug-ins and proprietary filters, and is compatible with all Internet programming languages. | |||||||||||||
